Cloud Services Technician

The Cloud Services Technician should have education in Information Technology, IT related fields or basic experience in IT to support the ongoing functions of the Cloud Services department, which are end user support and customer implementations.  The Cloud Services Technician will have an Associate degree and/or at least 2 years of equivalent experience in information technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Service end user trouble tickets with general system interactivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues with McLeod Applications.
• Remedy basic server issue alerts.
• Assist with setup tasks for new customers/environments.
• Conduct regular system maintenance.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

Competencies

• Associate degree or 2 years equivalent experience
• Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science preferred
• Knowledge of end user troubleshooting, ticketing process, documentation and computer administration.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with any of the below is a plus
  • Public Cloud Technologies such as Azure and AWS
  • MSSQL database tools
  • Virtualization tools
     

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of equivalent experience in information technology.
