Job Description
Aqueous Cleaning Tank Operator:
- Maintain a safe working environment and wear PPE as per standards
- Setup parts on cleaning ranks and make ready for aqueous cleaning process
- Follow documented instructions as per process requirements
- Visual inspection of parts to ensure contaminants were removed during cleaning process
- Carefully handle parts in and out of cleaning racks as per process requirements
- Setting parameters of operation on equipment as per commanding documentation
- Collect and submit samples as needed to ensure bath solution is at optimum levels
- Update traveler documentation as work is performed
- Perform general departmental housekeeping daily
- Sustain production pitch number standards
- Maintain a defect-free workflow
- Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
- Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements along with NADCAP requirements
- Follow and utilize Lean Manufacturing principles
- Maintain, implement and improve 5S principles
- Moving parts & materials to next operation as required
- Perform other tasks as needed by site leadership
Qualifications
- Previous light/medium industrial experience
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to read, interpret and understand work in-process documents
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Stand for prolonged periods of time
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Provides accurate feedback to the department supervisor pertaining to quality issues
- Lean skills continually drives process improvements
- Team building skills
