JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager serves as the lead for all business development efforts within their assigned region or customer group, including sales campaigns, contract negotiations, and marketing initiatives. They will be responsible for adapting existing value propositions and messaging to the unique needs of the region, as well as developing and executing the sales strategy for the assigned business portfolio. The Sales Manager leads all activities necessary to position and enhance product portfolios and services and is responsible for establishing and delivering sales targets for their portfolio of business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop sales strategy to drive growth for assigned region/customer group while preserving or growing profitability.
· Identify potential new leads and convert them into customers.
· Build and cultivate relationships with assigned customers and partners.
· Articulate the value proposition of Able’s services to current and potential customers and help them understand benefits for their operation and business.
· Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop large proposals that meet customers’ needs and business objectives.
· Successfully negotiate complex deals, identifying and adapting to diverse customer styles.
· Identify opportunities for development of new products and/or services.
· Conduct return on investment analysis to help prioritize development resources accordingly.
· Work with technical staff and other internal functions to address customer needs.
· Arrange and participate in internal and external customer business reviews.
· Attend industry events and provide market feedback to support other functional teams.
· Identify opportunities and work with Marketing to create sales campaigns for assigned market.
· Collaborate on the development of sales targets and ensure they are met.
· Develop a thorough understanding of Able’s people and their capabilities.
· Possess knowledge of repair processes including chemical plating, machining, cold spray, and hydraulic repair.
