Job Summary and Description
Performs moderate complex work providing advising to students from entry to completion.  Responsible for implementing the academic advising strategies and achievement of student learning outcomes.  May provide services for special populations.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
• Two years’ of related experience, preferably in a college setting.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Four years of related experience in educational or social services settings with parents and young children in diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. 
• A degree in child development, Education, Psychology, or related human services field.
• Community College experience desirable.
• Teaching background or Presentation skills desirable.
• Bilingual - Spanish/English desirable.
