Come join our team! Mobius is seeking an MDS Targets Product Engineer. In this role you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets and Countermeasures Long Range Program Office (DTL). Your expertise will be applied across multiple products lines developing the next generation of reentry vehicles, rocket motors, and support equipment to create realistic test environments for the nation’s missile defense systems. The position is in Huntsville, AL.

Duties of an MDS Targets Product Engineer may include: 

• Support the DTL Engineering team in all aspects of Target System’s design, analysis, and test to include requirements development, production, qualification, integration, and flight test.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts across multiple technical areas to develop engineering analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are met on time
• Providing expert advice to product and component failure investigations and review boards
• Represent the interests of the customer in Working Groups and Technical Interchange Meeting

Qualifications

• 7+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / project
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field with strong preference for Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

Clearance

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
