Backhaul Design Data Production Engineer

Your day to day:

The candidate will be part of multinational distributed team managing technologies related to both IP and Optical Transmission & Transport area of the Backhaul Network
The scope is to realize the network design via proprietary tools, following the right steps of a wide process, trigger and engage the other groups involved in the network project delivery. 
The resource will work with engineering teams, project management teams and other support engineers, in Italy or in other countries
The Network architecture and services in scope are:  FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence network), VULA, FTTN, L2/L3 network Protocol: TCP/IP, VLAN, network analysis, WDM principles

•    The scope is to realize the network design via proprietary tools, following the right steps of a wide process, trigger and engage the other groups involved in the network project delivery 
•    Follow the guideline coming from Engineering Vertical teams and produce project accordingly
 

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•    Ability to follow a delivery process and produce deliverables in time and with the right level of precision 
•    Ability to use different tools to gather information and produce Work order/low level design
•    Excellent communication skills to liaise with other Vodafone’s function
•    Ability to work within a multi-national, multi-cultural team
•    Knowledge of MS Office and Design Tool (RMT, P+); Configuration & Management (NCE, SET TX); Planning (TTSNO)
