Job Description

Position Overview

As the Contracts Analyst, Project Controls, you will be responsible for supporting bid proposals and EPC contract execution for offshore wind development projects and onshore construction projects.   The role will ensure Project Controls processes and systems are being followed in accordance with our standard operating procedures.  It may potentially require new processed development and implementation into this new workstream.  The Contract Analyst role will be heavily focused on information integrity within our construction project management system and ensuring processes within the system are following company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, update and manage library of contract templates and master service agreements by type including agreements for consultants, suppliers and contractors
  • Support legal coordination and review for all development service orders on project across
  • Ensure consistency of terms and conditions across contracts with different parties and similar scopes (e.g. LD amounts, insurance terms, Force Majeure, liability limits, retainage %) and highlight differences where they occur
  • Support coordinating with finance/procurement/origination to run project sensitivities and extrapolate price point for bid proposal
  • Coordinate with PM’s and Asset Managers to summarize and document contract deliverables to ensure contract compliance by contract parties
  • Coordinate with insurance/risk management, tax, treasury teams and others regarding insurance terms and claims, tax exempt documentation, forms of security like LC’s, bonds, escrow accounts
  • Manage monthly pay applications from contractors and suppliers including SOV, lien waivers, sworn statements, in coordination with PM’s and project accountants
  • Reviewing bid packages for compliance and submitting bids through the company’s bidding system

Basic Qualifications                   

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with project coordination and management of projects with multiple levels of interface between vendors, internal staff, and other stakeholders
  • Able to travel up to 5% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Construction experience and/or construction internship preferred
  • Excellent solution-seeking, teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions and follow tasks to completion with minimal direction
