University Hospitals is looking for talented and experienced registered nurses to join our compassionate care team within our Center for Emergency Medicine.

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
 

Qualifications

 

Position Requirements:

Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice.

Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.

1 year RN experience required.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from accredited program preferred.

Minimum of Diploma/Associate’s Degree in nursing from accredited program required

License Requirements:

Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.

Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
