We are currently seeking a Life & Annuities - Technical Products Specialist, Conversions - REMOTE to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska (US-NE), United States (US).

This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits.  Not open to C2C or C2H.

 

This position is fully Remote/Work from Home and may be based anywhere in the continental United States

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Works as an actuarial focused team member within information technology practice area 
• Supports client’s products and product development 
• Participates in development lifecycle of technical solutions to support client’s products and business operations 
• Builds thorough understanding of client’s business, technology and process needs 
• Serves as a liaison between internal and external clients, operations, and IT teams 
• Applies analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations/problems using multiple sources of information 
• Validates system calculations and output using external software, primarily Excel 
• Presents problem analysis and recommended solutions in a creative and logical manner 
• Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels 

 

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Requires at least five years of relevant Life and Annuity insurance experience as outlined below:
  • Experience in end-to-end business operations and systems for Life and Annuity (L&A) product lines
  • Experience working with varied Life and Annuity products, including Term Life, Whole Life, Interest-Sensitive Whole Life, Universal Life, Indexed Universal Life, Variable Life, Fixed Annuities, Indexed Annuities, Variable Annuities, Structured Settlements and Pension Risk Transfer

 

• Other Desired Qualifications:

• Enterprise-level platform-to platform, or TPA-to-TPA conversion experience within Life & Annuities
• Experience in Excel, Access, and calculation tools
• Experience using VBA with Excel reporting
• Experience in JIRA 
• Strong understanding of insurance related processes and technologies including policy administration platforms
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills

 

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $90,146 - $208,672. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
