Job Summary:

As a Seasonal Stores Hourly Talent Acquisition Sourcing Colleague, you are responsible for generating applicant traffic for seasonal store line positions for Macy’s stores.  A successful colleague in this role will be responsible for sourcing candidates for high volume hourly positions in hard-to-fill markets in preparation for peak hiring season.  Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Potential to work from home based on performance after introductory period for Full Time shifts. You must live within a commutable distance (50 miles) of the location.

What you will do:

• Source candidates and introduce the best marketplace talent to Macy's Inc. using sourcing, recruitment marketing, and talent attraction tools.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for job openings through participation in traditional and non-traditional outreach efforts using community-based talent sourcing research.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through sourcing and marketing outreach. 
• Record and track outreach data using Excel spreadsheets, for reporting purposes.  Ensure timely updates and data integrity within all talent attraction systems.
• Maintain a consistent, credible, and strategic presence within designated business units.
• Ensure all recruiting activities are consistent with the organization's policies and standards. 
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality

 

Who you are:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years related experience 
• Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
• Proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications and working from a dual monitor set-up
• Prior use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) a plus
• Possess sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.

 

Essential Physical Requirements:

• May require working with multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously for extended periods of time.  
• May Involve, reaching stooping, kneeling or crouching 
• Frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs.
