The Boeing Global Services (BGS) F-15 United States Air Force (USAF) Sustainment Program is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist to support PMBP and priority project execution on F-15E EPAWSS modification program in San Antonio, TX.
The program efforts include all BGS Interim Work Transfer (IWT) work for the Engineering Manufacturing Development (EMD) and Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) phases led by Boeing Defense Services (BDS), with the follow-on BGS led Full Rate Production (FRP) phase in 2024. Strong partnership and teaming with BDS counterparts will be key in this multi-phased program with proposal activity for FRP happening in parallel to retrofit execution. This person will collaborate across functional organizations to support the integrated execution of aircraft modification located at Boeing San Antonio. Position Responsibilities:
- Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project/program management best practices (PMBP)
- Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
- Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops and executes mitigation plans
- Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry
- Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
- Directs all phases of projects from inception through completion
- Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years’ experience in Project/Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
- 2+ years’ experience leading cross-functional teams
- Willing to travel domestically 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience developing & maintaining relationships & partnerships with USAF customer and stakeholders
- 1+ years’ experience working with aircraft production, modification and /or maintenance
