Work location: Dallas Fort Worth, TX. This position will be hybrid with the main office being in Dallas Fort Worth, TX, and secondary office in Trumbull, CT.
- Direct leadership of all Finished Goods Distribution within area of report using a layered organizational structure.
- Own related global budgeting with input from key partners and broader Global Operations to assure vision and strategies are considered. This includes but not limited to, staffing, equipment demands, footprint, and NPE or M&A.
- Partner to drive executive vision while providing detailed insight based on knowledge, experience, and known constraints.
- Assist in the development of global metrics and KPI’s related, managing to defined KPI targets
- Accountable to assure all policies are being managed throughout the organization of report including human resources, safety/OSHA, DOT, IATA, dangerous goods, quality, or other local equivalents.
- Provide detailed solutioning to acute challenges in partnership with the broader Warehouse Operations organization and local leadership.
- Manage local voice of the customer strategy to confirm and adjust strategies based on feedback for the team and strategies.
- Responsible to own current related business continuity plans including contingencies for outages.
- Champion team development as a servant leader using empowerment, teaching to apply latest principals, concepts, practices, and standards by using a variety of on-going projects, assignments, rewards, and recognition.
- Manage fleet of road, yard, and lift equipment assuring equipment is safe, roadworthy, and appropriately maintained if applicable.
- Collaborate with all areas of the business to develop strategies to continuously improve the customer experience, reduce cost, improve flow (both visual and physical), increase density, improve timelines, and absorb volume.
- Support merger and acquisition (M&A) integration at the local level and as required across CooperCompanies.
- Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business or Operations Management or equivalent experience is required.
- 10 years of hands-on warehouse experience in a combination of positions related to warehouse management, inventory management, supply chain including procurement, and operations; minimum 5 years in related management level multi-site position(s).
- Proficient using and training Microsoft office suite, ERP, and other automation software and programs such as MES, TMS in a warehouse management environment.
- Healthcare, medical device or other manufacturing in a regulated environment experience highly preferred
- Results driven, innovative, creative, and action-oriented; able to align and energize teams behind common objectives in both a reporting and a non-reporting structure.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills and can solve complex problems and think innovatively in creating results for the company.
- Hands on related Enterprise-wide business systems experience
Travel: This role may require up to 40% travel including domestic and international
