As the Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for our biggest technical projects. Working under our Senior VP of Information Services, you’ll take charge of project planning, resource coordination, and vendor management—making sure every project is completed smoothly, on time, and on budget. Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day:
  • Drive Project Success: Lead the coordination of teams and vendors to ensure project goals are met, timelines are managed, and budgets stay on track.
  • Plan and Organize Like a Pro: Define project scopes, timelines, and resource needs, tracking every milestone and task to keep everyone on the same page.
  • Be the Documentation Guru: Create and maintain top-notch project documentation, tracking any issues, changes, or contingencies as they come up.
  • Keep Stakeholders in the Loop: Communicate clearly with all project stakeholders, making sure technical and project updates are accessible and easy to understand.
  • Resolve and Problem-Solve: Tackle challenges as they arise and manage project scope adjustments smoothly, ensuring every detail aligns with project objectives.
What You Bring
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 10+ years of experience managing tech projects.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (like Azure DevOps or Jira).
    • Strong technical IT background to keep projects moving forward and on target.
    • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SOX compliance.
    • Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance knowledge is a plus.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
