Maintenance Technician
HIROTEC Manufacturing America, located in Fayetteville, Tennessee, is part of the HIROTEC Group, headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan. HIROTEC Group delivers body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure tooling, and stamping dies to automotive customers around the world. With a US headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI, HIROTEC Group operates 33 facilities in eight countries.
Currently, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of new production equipment.
- Conduct maintenance operations and repair on all hydraulic/pneumatics components/equipment in the facility.
- Install, repair, adjust, and calibrate various types of measuring, recording, and controlling equipment necessary to monitor or run manufacturing lines.
- Install electrical elements of machines including motors, relays, and switches; and set-up sensing mechanism, utilizing hand tools.
- Performs mechanical repairs and removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
- Ability to Hand TIG, Hand and Robot MIG, Spot weld, and/or Stick ARC weld is preferred.
- Maintain and improve high product quality by setting/managing proper welding conditions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications and utilize calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
- Knowledge of maintenance and responsible for the inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of progressive dies, machinery, etc.
- Equipment/asset care and Planned Preventive Maintenance processes and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
- Maintain and improve high product quality by setting/managing proper welding conditions.
- Participate in 5S, Quality, Safety, Delivery, Cost, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing activities.
- Other duties and projects may be assigned based on the operational objectives of the company.
Ideal candidate should have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years of maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing/production environment; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of employees. Strong analytical, organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills. Sound technical aptitude with the ability to resolve complex issues and thorough understanding of stamping, automation, and manufacturing applications. Ability to read, interpret, and produce engineering data and drawings with proficiency in CAD and/or CAM software. Knowledge of schematic diagrams/illustrations and experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical. Forklift, crane, aerial work platform, tooling machine, and high/low voltage electrical experience are required.
