Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am)

Job Duties:
In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
About the Unit:
The Neuro Unit is a 15-bed unit which specializes in neuroscience nursing for intermediate level adult patients with acute primary neurological diagnoses excellent ratios (3-4:1) with 24/7 leadership on the unit including a stoke coordinator. Common neuroscience cases include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, TIAs, seizure/epilepsy, degenerative disorders, autoimmune disorders, and central nervous system disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, 2C Neuro has been recognized as a state-of-the-art stroke care center. New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome.
Qualifications:
Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
BLS for healthcare provider required.
ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
NIHSS certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
