Job Description

As a valued leader on the D&I (Diversity and Inclusion) Programs and Consulting team, you are responsible for the end-to-end management of D&I programs that address strategic initiatives, operational needs, and other key business issues by aligning multiple projects, processes, and stakeholders. Business partners rely on this team to provide subject matter expertise, best practices, and innovative solutions to solve complex challenges across the organization.

We have one opening for this job and it can be worked on a Hybrid basis from our Washington, DC or Reston, VA office.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Diversity and Inclusion Programs - Senior Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex programs or initiatives by setting the strategy for them and overseeing their day-to-day execution.
  • Lead the continued development and implementation of the Employee Resource Groups (ERG) strategy.
  • Lead the analysis of key metrics to inform program development, impact and prioritization.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop solutions and/or programs to support the D&I strategy, including advising them on D&I best practices.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to implement improvements to existing programs, capabilities, and/or processes to support the D&I strategy as well as their functional/business priorities.
  • Lead the strategy and design of key D&I learning interventions for the enterprise.
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback to team members to help them achieve their performance and development goals.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 6 years related experience
  • Prior D&I experience
  • Prior leadership experience to include fostering an inclusive and productive team environment, leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Strong operational skills with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to work with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively towards a common goal
  • Strong influencing skills to include negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Skilled in effective relationship management to include managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, and building relationship networks
  • Performance measurement experience including evaluating programs and vendors and defining and measuring KPIs

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Prior people management and/or people leadership experience
