Integration Architect

What You’ll Do

• End-to-End Project Leadership:
  Own the full project lifecycle for Workday Extend and Built On Workday initiatives, including requirements gathering, solution architecture, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Collaborate with business leaders, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Solution Architecture & Design:
  Architect and design robust, secure, and scalable applications using Workday Extend and Built On Workday and various web integration technologies ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
• Technical Development:
  Lead and participate in the hands-on development and configuration of Workday applications, integrations, and custom extensions as well as the enterprise application side of the connections.
• Quality Assurance:
  Oversee and perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Documentation:
  Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, solution diagrams, and user guides.
• Mentorship:
  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and Workday analysts.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay current with Workday platform updates, new features, and industry trends; proactively recommend enhancements and optimizations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of enterprise web application integration experience, building integrations to third party vendors and partners
• Strong skills planning and negotiating integration strategies that maximize value and application capabilities when exchanging data with third parties
• Proven track record of leading enterprise integration projects from inception to delivery.
• Strong background in HRIS, ERP, and enterprise cloud application architecture.
• Specific experience with current Workday technologies a plus.
• Experience with web integration technologies (REST APIs, JSON, XML, JavaScript) required.
• Strong background in architectural decision making for enterprise-scale production applications.
• Expertise in Workday Extend, Workday Studio, and Workday Integration tools a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Extend and/or Built On Workday certifications.
• Experience in agile project management methodologies.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
• Successful track record delivering high quality products while working in Agile Teams and following Agile methodologies.
• Extensive experience building and architecting enterprise web applications.
