Job Summary:

Illuminate USA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to support inbound logistics operations at our new manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio. This role is critical to ensuring that all imported materials arrive on time, are properly documented, and are delivered efficiently to support production. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable managing fast-paced, time-sensitive shipments.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate timely operations for inbound shipments, ensuring smooth delivery and customs clearance.

· Communicate with suppliers to confirm shipment schedules, documentation accuracy, and order requirements.

· Collaborate with customs brokers to manage and monitor customs clearance processes.

· Partner with the transportation team to arrange pickups and ensure timely deliveries to the facility.

· Maintain accurate, organized, and searchable logistics records.

· Compile and report on logistics data for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting needs.

· Assess shipping requirements based on product type and delivery destination.

· Support continuous improvement by identifying and resolving logistics issues.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in logistics or supply chain a plus.

· 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export coordination preferred.

· Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

· Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
