Job Description

The Market Analyst will support Vuori’s retail real estate team with proactive analysis and reporting on the current and future retail fleet. Reporting to the Sr Director of Real Estate, the Market Analyst will stay up to date on latest retail industry news, competitor activities and market developments. They are responsible for analysis that will inform Vuori’s Retail expansion and reinvestment strategy, including site specific revenue and cannibalization forecasts.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Conduct market research for potential store locations 
• Develop and manage revenue forecast and cannibalization methodology in partnership with Real Estate, Finance and Retail leadership teams 
• Manage consultants and data providers 
• Interpret economic, demographic and business data to develop recommendations for internal business partners 
• Prepare and present revenue forecasts for approval  
• Collaborate with field teams on existing store performance, identifying market factors contributing to changes in forecasts  
• Maintain database of historical forecasts and reports, analyzing and identifying areas for improved methodology 
• Partner with internal BI team to develop tools and analyze omni-channel trends 
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to support department goals 
• Assist in creating efficiencies within the department and analyzing the impact on the business 
• Provide meaningful and actionable insight, drawn from experience  

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in retail real estate market planning and analysis 
• Experience with financial analysis and retail landscape 
• Excellent written and verbal communication  
• Ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages 
• Ability to proactively identify issues, prioritize and coordinate resolutions 
• Ability to work independently and summarize complex issues for diverse audiences  
• Highly organized, focus on details, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal  
• Proficient in MS word, excel, powerpoint  

Additional Information

Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000
