Rental Support Lead - Summer Seasonal

GENERAL PURPOSE

To support all locations of the rental department by transporting equipment between locations, filling in when needed at rental locations and facilitating rental deliveries. This role assists wherever needed within the rental department.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Transport rental bikes between locations.
• Work as a rental technician in one of the three rental locations when needed.
• Provide consistent exceptional customer service.
• Facilitate rental bike deliveries.
• Contact guests to coordinate times and locations for deliveries.
• Travel to guests that are having mechanical issues while using rental bikes to resolve issues.
• Properly utilize the Snow Cloud rental system to ensure all equipment is correctly checked out and checked in when returned
• Be attentive to communications from rental location managers
• End of day accounting reconciliation.

 

OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Manage online orders
• Assist with administrative tasks such as responding to emails, voicemails, etc.
• Occasional inventory management requiring data entry

JOB SPECIFICATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Suite proficiency
• Basic knowledge of the bike/ski/snowboard industry and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
• Ability to interact with the public to provide superior guest experience.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates at multiple rental locations and requires outdoor work daily which may cause exposure to extreme temperatures and varying weather conditions.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time performing repetitive motions with hands to grasp, reach, push, and pull with extensive use of fingers.
• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching is required to move inventory around the rental shop.
• Hearing, speaking, and reading ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication at normal speaking level.

 

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

• Part-time. Weekends only from 9-5.

 

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

• Clean driving record that meets the standards to be insured to drive company vehicles.
