About the team & opportunity 

What’s so great about working on Calendly’s People team? 

We are the foundation that aims to set up our people for success to do the best work of their life at Calendly. 

Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition who will forge strategic partnerships across the business and People team, lead the Talent Acquisition function, and reinforce Calendly’s employment brand. You will report to the Head of People and will be responsible for working collaboratively and cross-functionally with key leaders across the company, as well as develop creative and innovative solutions that support and sustain Calendly’s growth.

A day in the life of a Head of Talent Acquisition at Calendly

On a typical day, you will be working on: 

  • Be a trusted partner to multiple stakeholders to clearly understand organizational and departmental needs.
  • Continuously assess and refine the Talent Acquisition strategy to rapidly adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs.
  • Develop various recruiting strategies to include active and passive pipeline development through DEI initiatives, employee referral campaigns, and university relations. 
  • Enhance company brand to attract top talent, including the creation of compelling job advertisements, career pages, and review sites.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track effective recruiting metrics and assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to attract and hire a diverse workforce.
  • Ensure optimization of recruitment technologies such as applicant tracking systems, assessment platforms, and other tools to drive desired outcomes.
  • Manage a team of Talent Acquisition Partners to meet the hiring demands of the organization.
  • Own budget planning and management of all recruitment efforts.

 

What do we need from you?

  • 12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition with a proven track record of implementing effective strategies to attract talent.
  • 8+ years of experience in a managerial role with established experience managing a diverse team, including senior recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators.
  • Experience building and fostering relationships that lead to trust and credibility across all employee levels.
  • Ability to be agile and easily adapt and pivot in a fast-paced dynamic culture.
  • Experience leading a TA team in a software/SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of building/enhancing employer brand.
  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time.
