OVERVIEW

This team is at the forefront of this growth and is responsible for designing and implementing a world-class customer service model, simple yet elegant store processes, and leading-edge systems to delight our customers.
Alo is seeking an experienced analyst to join our Retail Operations team. This position will be responsible for forecasting and managing sales and labor budgets in addition to other retail P&L lines across all our Retail locations globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and distribute sales goal targets for retail locations, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Lead the creation, management, and analysis of retail store labor budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Retail Operations, Planning & Allocation, and Human Resources, to gather relevant data and insights for accurate budgeting and planning.
- Generate and maintain annual, monthly, and weekly budgets for all retail locations, incorporating sales forecasts, labor requirements, and other relevant factors.
- Monitor and analyze actual expenses against budgeted figures, identifying variances and proactively recommending adjustments to ensure financial targets are met.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of store-level financial performance, identifying opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimization.
- Conduct monthly labor walks at retail locations to evaluate staffing levels, operational efficiency, and adherence to labor budgets, and provide feedback to enhance performance.
- Produce general operational reports to support decision making across all areas of Retail
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations to senior leadership as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned to support broader Retail Operations function.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management or Finance preferred
- 5 years of experience in financial planning and reporting focused on Retail within Retail Labor Planning or Finance FP&A teams.
- Strong analytical and abilities with impeccable attention to detail
- Experience administering and using communication platforms
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel to local retail store locations as needed
The Base Salary Range for this position is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the Company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
