Overview
The mission of Princeton University Department of Athletics is to strive for excellence in academics and athletics, while embracing equity in opportunity, good sportsmanship, and ethical conduct. The role of the Assistant Diving Coach and Operations Assistant is to provide a quality varsity program that will challenge and develop the physical, mental and personal abilities of student-athletes of a Division I program.
This position is temporary.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include coaching and administrative duties. There will be office work and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Background/understanding of intercollegiate swimming and diving required.
- Ability to work early morning, nights and weekends required.
- Willingness to travel to away competitions.
- Ability to work within the framework of the Department of Athletics administration and coaches.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, administration, staff and alumni.
- Ability to uphold the commitment to Department of Athletics mission and values of Education Through Athletics, i.e., an understanding of the fundamental role that intercollegiate athletics, properly implemented, can play in the educational development of our student-athletes.
