Cruise Director - Ft. Sumter - PT Spirit Line Cruises

Job Description

Join the SpiritLine Cruises & Events team as the Cruise Director for our Private Charters, where you'll play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our clients. As the primary point of contact during events, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between clients, bar service, caterers, entertainment, and our boat crew. 

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the event
• Coordinate with caterers, bartenders, and boat crew to guarantee smooth operations during events such as Rehearsal Dinners, Corporate Functions, Holiday Parties, and Family Reunions
• Manage vendor load in, guiding vendors and vehicles to designated areas 
• Ensure contract deliverables are executed and adhered to by all parties, including floorplans, cleanliness and bar offerings
• Oversee the check-out process for vendors at the conclusion of events

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple parties during events
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends (typical shift: 4:30-10:30)
• Seasonal availability
• Physical capability to lift up to 20 pounds, be on your feet for 4-6 hours at a time, walk up and down stairs and ramps
