Job Summary:
Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products within established policies and procedures for organization.
Expectations: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following expectations satisfactorily.
Daily
- Serve as primary point of contact for Parts customers.
- Sort materials/goods and put them on racks, shelves or in bins according to stocking guidelines.
- Create purchase orders in BC and distribute to vendors.
- Receive parts and equipment against purchase orders and perform quality inspections.
- Oversee Parts inventory management, including stocking and organization.
- Fulfill requestions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items as needed.
- Coordinate with the Service team regarding backorders and lead times for service parts.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets/shelves or conveys orders to packing station/shipping area.
- Review Salesforce Dashboard and investigate any potential issues.
- Monitor safety compliance and make escalate any issues to manager.
- Work in cooperation with Service Specialist, Field Service Supervisor and Technicians to ensure a positive customer experience, effective scheduling and dispatch, and timely and accurate billing.
Weekly
- Review outstanding purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure prompt receipt of parts.
- Monitor customer backorders and follow up on expected deliveries.
- Review the upcoming week’s service workload. Confirm parts will arrive on time.
- Review Service WIP with Service Admin team and FSS. Address any stagnate jobs as needed.
- Participate in weekly branch meetings.
Monthly
- Oversee inventory cycle counts for warehouse and service trucks. Assist with any full inventory counts as needed.
- Serve as a representative of the Safety Committee. Attend monthly committee meetings.
- Assist with full inventory audit of tools, equipment and service vehicles.
Ad Hoc
Qualifications/Experience/Education/Skills:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office 360 and other Microsoft products/systems. Strong technical aptitude, including ability to learn new systems quickly and train/support team in adoption.
