Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional P&C Partner to join our team. The Regional P&C Partner will be responsible for overseeing human resources functions within a designated geographic area or region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations.
Key Focus Areas:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Work closely with TA partner on local requirements for Recruitment.
- Be a local Point of Contact for questions regarding applicable process and Employment Matters.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact and provide proactive guidance for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
- Work closely with managers to address performance issues and identify opportunities for employee development.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate training and development initiatives within the region, including orientation programs, skills training, and leadership development.
- Identify training needs and collaborate with Talent Development and Functional BPs to design and deliver relevant training programs.
Compliance:
- Working closely with Compliance and Legal partners, ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
- Help to identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans in conjunction with Compliance partner, as needed, for the region.
Policy Implementation:
- Implement HR policies and procedures consistently across the region.
- Monitor policy adherence and address any violations or discrepancies.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Working closely with the Functional BPs, contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs aligned with organizational objectives.
- You will get to execute on strategic people initiatives in partnership with the BP and aligned executive.
- Drive program execution in partnership with the business partner on topics like
- Employee Engagement, Merit and Stock Refresh programs to focus strategically on key employee retention and rewards.
- Data analysis as needed across various project needs (e.g. diversity program, leader report outs, improvement areas)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a regional or multi-site capacity.
- Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- HR certification preferred.
