Salary/Position Classification

  • 103.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 19 hours per week

Purpose of Position

Community faculty preceptors to oversee resident work in either in-patient or out-patient clinic setting. These are part-time, non-benefited employees.

Required Competencies

  • Teaching residents and medical students at the UND Center for Family Medicine-Bismarck, in the hospital, and other educational settings.
  • Supervision of residents and medical students and maintaining a significant broad-based clinical practice at the UND Center for Family Medicine-Bismarck.
  • Assist in evaluations of residents relevant to their ability to provide appropriate patient care.

Minimum Requirements

  • Have or be eligible for license to practice medicine in the State of North Dakota
  • Completion of an accredited residency program (AOA, ACGME)
  • American Board of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine certified or eligible
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
