Senior Systems Engineer

We are now looking to grow the team with a senior Systems Engineer with expertise in embedded systems who will have a crucial role in the development process for our boats. You will join a small, high-paced team of very talented individuals, and as a part of that team, you will get to grow and develop alongside your colleagues.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Top level electrical system architecture and ensuring they meet performance, safety and regulatory requirements for the boating industry.
• Off the shelf hardware integration of automotive embedded components (e.g. Motor, inverter, on-board charger, DCDC converter, power distribution units and more)
• Develop system-level design documentation including block diagrams, schematics and interface specifications.
• Hands on physical prototyping and integration.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and production of electrical systems.
• Select and evaluate components to improve performance and reduce the bill of material.
• Work closely with project managers to define project scope, timelines and deliverables.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Your profile

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
• A strong interest in technology, sustainability, and boats.
• Proficiency in C programming and experience with embedded software development
• +5 years of experience in systems design and electrical engineering.
• Skills in maintaining a close working relationship with component and material suppliers.
• Ability to perform simulations and prepare testing needed to verify and validate the electrical system design.

It's a plus if you have:

• Experience from the automotive and/or EV industry.
• Experience from working with high voltage.
