As a Data Product Manager, you will apply strong expertise in data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and build next-generation data products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to define the vision and roadmap for large, sophisticated data product workstreams. You will have the opportunity to drive the current and future strategy by leveraging your Product Management skill as you ensure business value and communicate the results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and define the vision and roadmap for large, sophisticated data product workstreams (building gold data products to standardize business measurement, enhancing and scaling BI tooling to support self-service analytics, etc.) and data platforms (building tools for software engineers to do self-service data ingestion and transformation.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, business development, and other key constituents within the company to ensure that the product offerings address customer requirements and business needs.
- Be able to clearly articulate the vision, important metrics, opportunities, and challenges and show how their team's work prioritization aligns with those goals and that of the broader data team.
- Facilitate requests from a variety of different stakeholders and objectively prioritize teamwork across competing interests and business needs.
- Compiling and analyzing data to respond to ad hoc data information requests
Requirements
- Minimum of 6-8 years experience in Product Management with a focus on building data products
- Highly analytical and collaborative qualities with strong technical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Experience and comfort in solving problems in an ambiguous environment with constant change.

- Experience with Databricks/Snowflake and ETL/ELT tools preferred.
