Salesforce Inc. seeks Security Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Respond to security incidents. Coordinating incident response across teams. Identify measures to improve security response. Performing security assessments and code audits.  Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware. Research new attack vectors and mitigation strategies, developing threat models and remediation guidance (technical solutions) for MuleSoft products. Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems. Monitor and analyze security systems, document requirements, and implement improvements on a continuous basis; when possible, automate security improvements. Develop best practices and security standards for the organization, assisting fellow employees in cybersecurity best practices. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Information Technology, Information Security, or a related quantitative discipline. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Information Technology, Information Security,).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Advanced data network; (2) Secure software systems; (3) Applied cryptography; (4) Network security; (5) Applied information assurance; (6) Browser security; 

Special skills may be gained through academic coursework or employment experience.  Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $114,200.00 - $188,600.00 per annum.
