Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Customer Service professional to join our team in Chicago office. As a Cashier/Customer Service representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring smooth and efficient transaction processing. 

Salary:$16.50 - $25.60 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cash registers and handle all payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly and addressing their inquiries in a friendly manner.
• Manage cash and credit transactions while ensuring compliance with store policies and procedures.
• Assist customers with product selection, locating items, and providing information about promotions and discounts.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and ensure that products are well-stocked and displayed appropriately.
• Handle returns and exchanges, ensuring customer satisfaction while following company protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills to accurately process transactions and handle cash.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented approach towards handling money and processing returns/exchanges.
