About the role

This position is part time, days, located at Methodist Hospital.

This position is responsible for providing direct patient care duties for designated imaging patients and clerical tasks supporting the department. The incumbent will perform procedures as defined by the department and delegated by the technologist including supervised Echo's, EKG's, and IV starts. The incumbent provides personal care while ensuring the surroundings are clean, orderly, and well-stocked.  The incumbent adheres to all radiology policies and procedures concerning radiation safety, as applicable for the modality. Transports as needed.

  • Requires current enrollment in an echo cardiac vascular program that leads to CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) or ARDMS licensure.
  • Requires clinical check offs required to perform hospital functions.
  • Requires Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
  • Requires the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to insure optimal patient care.
  • Requires basic knowledge of infection control procedures.
  • Requires strong organizational skills.
  • Requires basic computer skills.
