Senior Integration and Test Engineer

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) seeks a talented and goal-oriented individual to join our team. The selected candidate will work closely with contractor and NASA. The Software Integration and Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of software components and the comprehensive testing of software systems. This role involves working closely with software developers, system engineers, and quality assurance teams to integrate, test, and validate software that meets customer and system requirements.  

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, 5 years of experience in software integration and testing, or a similar role, ore equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with software development, scripting, and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium) and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance (SQA).
