East Coast Kitchen Operations Lead

The East Coast Kitchen Ops lead will be responsible for daily directing and organizing of the Food and Beverage program in all east coast Anduril locations (New England to Mississippi). Customer service is of the utmost importance while also having a keen eye for the details. The person will be acting as the cultural ambassador and execute the duties of the role while maintaining the highest food quality standards.
They will be responsible for the F&B program to ensure a consistently high-quality level of service while at the same time developing the Kitchen Ops team. The candidate for this role is highly adaptable to the fast paced landscape of start-up. Do or do not, there is no try.

Here's what you'll do:

• Responsible for upholding Anduril’s standard for the food program.
• Responsible for overall food safety in all of our offices in the east coast. This includes unannounced inspections and audits of all locations to ensure high levels of cleanliness and organization.
• Partner with other departments to support unique events and ensuring that food and beverage is planned and executed.
• Hold and maintain applicable certification requirements for position to include: ServSafe Food Handlers certificate, Alcohol Awareness certificate, CPR and First Aid certificate.
• Above all, food safety and quality is the #1 goal.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a fast paced startup or a related field such as restaurant or bar service
• You work well across multiple departments and disciplines and can engage with ease and comfort. From the janitorial team to executives, you can clearly communicate at both ends of the spectrum.
• Your communication skills are strong both verbal and written.
• You work well under stress and always maintain composure and objectivity under pressure. Calm in chaos mindset.
• You will have a U.S. Person status. This is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.

Physical Requirements:

• Most work tasks are performed indoors. Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day. You will spend most of your time on your feet, not behind a laptop.
• Requires standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders.
• 50% travel to other offices is required.
• You are required to wear personal protective safety equipment in construction areas.
• Occasionally requires lifting to perform duties & responsibilities. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull carts and equipment weighing in excess of 300lbs occasionally.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
