About the role

Citibank, N.A. seeks an FP&A Group Manager for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Perform analysis of forecasts, strategic, and operating plans. Participate in creation of monthly outlooks in partnership with segment, business, and financial planning and analysis teams. Support creation of Citi financial reports and coordinate with Finance teams to provide a summary of financial trends and insights to senior management. Perform identification, consolidation, measuring, and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organization, including the setting of appropriate targets for financial performance. Conduct

analytics in support of CEO and CFO reviews including business initiatives. Develop relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision-making. Generate analytics for quarter-end flash results, related highlights, Board of Directors reports, and executive management reports as well as participate in quarterly competitor reviews, quarterly annotated supplements, and quarterly investment reports. Prepare presentations and analyses for the team and in support of the CFO. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by complying with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, and escalating and reporting control issues with transparency. Work closely with the Lead Finance Officer (LFO) and FP&A teams to accomplish forecasting and reporting for Retail Bank &Mortgage business. Support forward-looking processes including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review of results. Perform analysis and deliver presentations related to the financial performance of Citi and its competitors. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related quantitative occupation developing models for planning and analysis within the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Preparing short-term forecasts using Outlook and long-term forecasts using Plan and CCAR; Tracking monthly financials against short-term and long-term forecasts; Preparing and reviewing quarterly earnings reports; Utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and data management tool (Access, SAS, SAP, or Oracle Essbase); Preparing and maintaining financial models used for financial planning and analysis; Interacting with senior business leaders to provide analytical insights and Management Business Review presentations; and Tracking investments, productivity initiatives, and financial impacts the business and counsel. 40 hrs./wk.
