We are seeking a detail-driven, strategic, and collaborative Database Administrator & Prospect Management Specialist to play a critical role in strengthening our philanthropic impact.

This role is ideal for someone who loves clean data, sees systems as storytelling tools, and understands how donor intelligence fuels meaningful relationships and mission growth.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a central role in powering Avivo’s philanthropic impact by ensuring our donor data is accurate, trusted, and strategically used. As the primary administrator of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, you’ll steward our donor database with care and precision—maintaining strong data standards, reconciling gifts, and keeping records clean and reliable. You’ll transform information into insight by creating reports and tools that guide fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and leadership decision‑making. Through prospect research and donor intelligence, your work will help strengthen relationships, uncover new opportunities, and support thoughtful, mission‑aligned growth. You’ll partner closely with the External Relations team and leadership, ensuring our systems, data, and practices reflect Avivo’s commitment to dignity, equity, and impact.

In this role, you will:

Administer and optimize Raiser’s Edge NXT with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and usability
Build reports, dashboards, and queries that support campaigns, stewardship, and strategy
Conduct prospect research and prepare donor intelligence to inform fundraising priorities
Collaborate with fundraisers and leaders to support appeals, events, and portfolio management
Uphold equitable, culturally responsive data practices aligned with Avivo’s values

QualificationsWhat You Bring

Required

Associate degree plus 5 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience in data, nonprofit administration, or related fields.
Hands‑on experience administering Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT.
Demonstrated success maintaining high‑accuracy data, including gift entry and reconciliation.
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, validation, exports) and comfort with database reporting.

Nice to Have

Experience working with relational databases.
Familiarity with online fundraising and email marketing platforms.

Work Schedule & Location

32 hours per week, full‑time benefits eligible.
Flexible hybrid schedule: two days in the Minneapolis office, two days remote.
Occasional evening or weekend availability for events.
Local travel for meetings or community events as needed.
