Allied is currently looking for an individual to set-up and operation of 5 axis Walter Grinders to front grind Gen3sys inserts.

Requirements

• Setup Walter Vision CNC grinder for Gen3 product. Includes measuring and installing wheel stacks, selecting tool holders, loading programs, dressing wheels, and making offset adjustments.
• Finish grind Gen3 product on Walter Vision CNC grinder. Monitor wheel conditions and dress as needed.
• Inspect GEN3 geometry per inspection plan using manual camera, Zoller Titan, and micrometers.
• Process orders per ALPS scheduling system.
• Maintain productivity and product quality to meet department goals.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

• Basic math, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Able to lift 32 Lbs.
• Able to be on their feet for 12 hours with continuous movement
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of CNC setu-up experience preferred
• Ability to navigate CNC controls
• Attention to detail
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to troubleshoot problems
• Ability to understand prints
• Computer skills
