Title: Kitchen Porter

Location: Leiden (Oegstgeest)

Gross salary: EUR 2250-2300 gross per month based on fulltime

Job Description

  • Ensuring compliance with all aspects of food safety and health and safety
  • Washing dishes, cutlery, glasses, and other materials for reuse
  • Drying and distributing clean items
  • Ensuring a clean and hygienic workspace
  • Assisting chefs in cleaning the kitchen at the end of the day
  • Ensuring waste is properly separated in the right bins
  • Assisting chefs in the kitchen if needed

Qualifications

  • No formal education is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
