Warehouse Receiving Associate

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for various warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, putaway, replenishment, item demand, consolidation, count checks, and loading/unloading of trucks.

Pay Rate: $18.50 p/h

Primary Responsibilities:

- Operate powered industrial equipment for unloading and loading shipments.

- Inspect, count, and document shipments against PO’s for accuracy.

- Wrap pallets for stability and load outbound shipments securely.

- Convey items between storage locations and perform inventory checks.

- Receive, pick, and ship warehouse items accurately.

- Ensure warehouse housekeeping and comply with safety regulations.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED preferred

- 2 years experience in a warehouse environment preferred

- Proficient in operating Powered Industrial Trucks (e.g., forklift, reach truck)

- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF devices preferred

Skills & Abilities:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Team player with the ability to work proactively.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize effectively.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 200 pounds with assistance.

- Proficient in using handheld scanners for efficient warehouse operations.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

- Regularly required to walk, stand, sit, and use hands and fingers.

- Ability to operate a computer, scanner, and warehouse equipment.

- Lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 200 pounds with assistance.

- Work in a warehouse environment with various conditions.
