About the role

Community Internal Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team. The NP or PA will provide acute, chronic, medically complex, and preventive health care services to established adult patients in the outpatient clinic setting. The provision of care includes but is not limited to comprehensive evaluation, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacologic agents and treatments, non-pharmacologic therapies, and counseling patients.

Compensation is calculated based off education and experience. The base range of this position would be $106,000.00 - $159,900.00.

Benefit-eligible employees (50-100% FTE) receive up to 7 trip days (commensurate with time away from practice as approved off the schedule by a supervisor) and an annual allotment of $4,400 for Continued Medical Education (CME).

Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current MN RN and APRN license and certification as an ANP, GNP, or FNP. DNP is preferred.  

Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice.

This position requires DEA registration and BLS certification.

Additional Qualifications:

Two to three years of experience preferred.
