Position Requirements:
- Perform factory start-up, billable and warranty corrective action on standard, non-integrated Munters dehumidifier systems in conjunction with factory training
- Maintain and protect Munters equipment and property
- Respond in a timely manner to all requests for service from customers or management
- Provide customer training on standard Munters equipment
- Provide technical feedback on equipment through use of detailed field service reports
- Understand that Field Service’s major role is one of instant response to customers’ needs, and focus as a part of a team to make us available at all times to our customer needs, urgent or otherwise
Skill Requirements:
- 5 years minimum experience in the HVAC industry. successful completion of HVAC/refrigeration vocational school a plus
- CFC Certification
- Experience with Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems and components
- PLC controls knowledge is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Self Motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Ability to travel extensively, up to 75%

- Pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally, and assisting in the infrequent movement of weights of up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, kneeling and other positions
- Climbing in, on and around mechanical equipment.
- Applying bilateral use of upper extremities when needed, such as maintaining a grip with both hands.
- Maintaining balance and coordination on stairs, ladders, uneven terrain, moving equipment, rails, beams and ballast.
- Maintaining three-point contact when holding on a ladder.
- Ability to safely carry, utilize and store various types of ladders.
- Inspecting the conditions and operations of equipment and machines and making adjustments (may require bending or stooping).
- Monitoring the situation, environment, smells and gauges to gather information and take appropriate action (requires ability to recognize sounds and changes in sounds and requires color vision, the ability to detect and interpret visual stimuli, day and night, at near and far distances, printed material text, and the energy of moving objects).
- Physical Ability: Ability to apply muscular strength, power, flexibility, aerobic capacity, range of motion, and endurance in the performance of the physical requirements of the job.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to make quick, accurate, skillful, and coordinated hand movements to grasp, place, or move objects.
