This is a hybrid in-office role, located in Mountain View, CA office.

We seek a skilled Principal Software Engineer proficient in full-stack development focusing on front-end. In this role, you will develop and implement software solutions with a team of developers. You must have a strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and experience with back-end technologies such as Java, Python, SQL, and GraphQL. Additionally, you should have experience working with responsive web design and be able to create dynamic user interfaces that are both visually appealing and functional. As a Principal Software Engineer, you must also have excellent communication skills and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and implementing front-end architecture, frameworks, and workflows. 

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing.

• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate the front-end with the server-side infrastructure and to ensure that our applications are performant, scalable, and secure.

• Play a critical role in shaping our products' user experience and driving our business's success.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development. This includes attending conferences, reading blogs, and experimenting with new frameworks and libraries.

• Contribute to the overall technical direction of the team. This includes participating in architectural discussions, proposing new features, and helping to solve technical challenges.

• Debug and troubleshoot front-end applications. This includes identifying and fixing bugs, as well as optimizing performance.

• Lead and mentor other front-end engineers. This includes providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and helping to develop best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 10+ years of experience in software development.

• Expertise in front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks, such as React, Vue.js, Svelte, etc.

• Experience with back-end technologies, such as Java, Python, or Ruby.

• Experience with Node.js.

• Experience with unit testing, functional testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

The compensation for this position ranges from $143,625.00 - $299,375.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experienc
