Senior IT Asset Management (ITAM) Process Analyst will be responsible for driving the centralization ITAM practices and leading, implementing, and maintaining processes that will drive quality, consistency, simplification, and efficiency across all ITAM functions. This role will leverage knowledge gained and relationships built to identify, prioritize, and implement continual change that will drive consistency and improvement across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day ITAM Program operation and delivery
  • Promulgate and drive integration of ITAM processes across organization through communication, orientation, and training
  • Implement ITAM best practices drive ITAM process improvement
  • Lead implementation of ITAM-enabling technology
  • Lead ITAM process gap analysis and corrective action plans. Lead ITAM process modification (review, approval, and implementation)
  • Act as ITAM subject matter expert for organization. Identify and consult SMEs/advisors within the organization to mitigate compliance risk.
  • Manage ITAM Program’s continuous monitoring and reporting of IT asset portfolio
  • Maintain ITAM process integrity and drive optimization where applicable
  • Develop and utilize business practices, technologies, and governance to manage the lifecycle of IT assets, delivering reliable and consistent IT asset information to support enterprise requirements, including Vendor compliance, Procurement, IT Financial Management, Security, End User Computing, IT Service Management, and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Develop a communication and training plan to promote awareness and understanding of ITAM standards regularly and proactively. Drive compliance with ITAM guidelines and practices to ensure effective, efficient, high-quality delivery that consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the business.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry developments and ITAM best practices to recommend ITAM process improvements, gap analysis, and corrective action plans. Ensure ITAM compliance with industry regulations and corporate policy.
  • Implement process changes and improvements in support of program maturity roadmap and commitments.
  • Produce ITAM metrics and reports per governance requirements
  • Position the organization to identify cost saving opportunities and strategies through effective lifecycle management capabilities.
  • Provide external and internal software audit support to mitigate organizational risk.
  • Coordinate with ITAM/CMDB development team to improve functionality in support of more effective management of the organization’s IT assets.
  • Develop standard operating procedure documentation to ensure program continuity and process knowledge transfer.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of computer science, business administration, information systems, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience with:
  • IT Asset Management program operations
  • IT Asset Management technologies, policies, and processes
  • Collecting, tracking, and reporting on IT asset data
  • ITAM compliance management process
  • ITIL certification
  • Project Management
