Purpose
The Electrical Graduate Engineer or Electrical Engineer assumes responsibility for supporting all Utilities and Energy Management (UEM) working groups in an electrical engineering capacity specific to utility plans and distribution systems. The Electrical Graduate Engineer or Electrical Engineer applies UEM and industry standards and/or complex engineering analyses and procedures to ensure safety, compliance, and reliability of electrical power systems.
Responsibilities
- Electrical Systems Engineering: Evaluates, troubleshoots, and reviews electrical power systems. Performs power system analysis including load flow and voltage drop, short circuit, arc flash hazard analysis, cable ampacity, and harmonics.
