We are an early stage YC-backed startup building developer tools for high growth companies. We are a team of ex-Googlers with background building engineering teams at several fast-growing silicon valley startups.

Our customers include high growth companies such as Slack, Square, Doordash, Figma.

About the role

We are looking for a founding product designer to join our nimble team to build the initial product alongside our team in-person in San Francisco. This person will be an extension to us, and have the same voice on the table. We think of the founding designer as having the ethos of being a founder themselves.

You’ll partner closely with the founder, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to craft intuitive, elegant, and scalable user experiences. You’ll have significant ownership, help shape the product roadmap, and contribute to the evolution of our design culture.

An ideal candidate has a unique mix of design skills, knack for good designs, and execution driven mindset.

What you will do

• Lead design for major product initiatives from concept through launch.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize feedback to drive product decisions.
• Explore new product development areas driven by strategic understanding of users landscape.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for web experiences.
• Collaborate with our founders to gather requirements through detailed technical discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system and component library.
• Use data and qualitative insights to inform and validate design decisions.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 5–8+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing B2B or SaaS products.
• Passion for building engineering tools, excited about solving problems for engineers.
• Expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Framer).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills—ability to work cross-functionally and influence product strategy.
• Experience working in agile product teams, especially at high-growth SaaS startups.
• Bonus: Experience with developer tools, complex workflows, or enterprise UX.
