Job Summary
This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Merchandising & Marketing under the Merchandising & Marketing Department. In this role, the Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of merchandising and marketing projects to drive company growth as part of the larger program. This role requires a passion for problem solving, organization, and the betterment of brand strategy. The Senior Program Manager must collaborate with cross-functional teams to help facilitate effective program execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Define and manage program scope and objectives in alignment with business goals. Supervise project manager(s) and teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery of program outcomes. Identify potential risks in projects and communicate updates with cross functional teams.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events, rebranding, and campaigns including coordinating logistics and tracking results. Create marketing plans to drive business success given a set budget. Plan PR strategies, internal marketing, rebranding opportunities, traditional advertising, out of home site selection, budget allocation, and more.
- Research & Innovation: Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make recommendations for improvement. Monitor market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion. Conduct research and assess new platforms and strategies in the retail industry. Contribute to new platform onboarding efforts and contract management.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts for new and existing marketing and merchandising activities.
- Management: Manage Support Associate(s), Project Assistant, and Outreach & Creative Manager. Help ensure compliance with branding guidelines and consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels. Help provide mentorship and guidance to teams to foster professional development.
- Support & Coordination: Provide support to the department head, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing payments. Help coordinate surveys of stores and communications as needed. Help coordinate invoicing for contracts as needed. Coordinate Out of Home contracts and site selection.

- This position requires 45 - 50 hours/week in our Memphis office and may require some weekend and evening availability.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferable in the retail industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
