Security Generalist

 

 

Your Tasks

• Monitor the physical security infrastructure, including CCTV systems, access control systems, alarms, and physical barriers to safeguard the facility. 

• Coordinate with external security vendors, ensuring contracted security personnel meet operational requirements and adhere to company policies. 

• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. 

• Enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards. 

• Monitor and review access control logs and incident reports. 

• Assist in the investigation of security breaches and incidents. 

• Conduct guard training on security protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of security systems. 

• Collaborate with other key departments within Arvato sites. 

• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in physical security and recommend necessary upgrades or changes.

• The role may require occasional evening or weekend hours to address security issues or perform system checks.

• Will need to travel to all Louisville Campus sites.

• Some travel outside of the Louisville Campus may be required. 

 

Your Profile

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in physical security or a related field. 

• Knowledge of physical security systems, including surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and emergency response procedures. 

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. 

• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

• Must be able to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
