Senior Software Engineer – Android Development with Recon Android HCP3 2025 (multi-year contract opportunity)
Role Summary:
· As an Android Automotive Software Engineer, you will be doing Software applications and native layers of Android stack for the Automotive Digital Cockpit.
· You will collaborate with UX, Industrial Designers, Backend specialist, Android SW engineers to build end to end advanced concepts.
· You will be part of a team that has end-to-end responsibility including design, architecture, documentation, development, verification, and validation.
· As part of our VW Group Innovation center, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to generating innovative ideas and solutions.
Qualifications
Skills Requirements:

· Excellent knowledge in Android Kotlin Java, C++, Python
· Recon Android HCP3 2025 Contextual HMI, Worklifesync 2025, Android HCP3 and Android Companion
· Experience in Automotive communication buses
· Experience of Android app and Android platform development along with experience in AOSP and the AOSP build system.
· Familiar with modern app architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM, layered
