Evolus is a performance beauty company with a customer-centric approach focused on delivering breakthrough products. We are seeking an experienced and driven Sr Business Analyst to join our Global Insights & Analytics Team. As the Sr Business Analyst, you will work at the intersection of business and technology, acting as a liaison between our analytics and data engineering teams. This role demands expertise in data analysis, reporting, and data modeling. The ideal candidate is an individual who can effectively translate business needs into clear technical and data requirements to drive efficient and scalable solutions. Collect, assess, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
Develop and refine data models that support reporting and business intelligence tools
Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting metrics, KPIs, and analytical frameworks
Ensure data solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business objectives
Conduct thorough data validation and testing to ensure accuracy & completeness
Utilize SQL and Excel to analyze data, develop reports, and create data visualizations
Work closely with data engineering teams to design and validate data solutions that enhance business intelligence capabilities
Identify opportunities for process improvements and data optimization

Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, data stewardship, or a related role
Strong expertise in SQL and Excel for data manipulation, validation, and analysis
In-depth experience in data modeling and designing scalable data structures
Proficiency in gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements
Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline design
Experience in Agile methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Remote position with a preference for Candidates in southern CA. Our HQ is in Newport Beach. On-site employees are in the office Tuesday - Thursday.

Compensation & Total Rewards The expected pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations including but not limited to role relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, certifications, and more.
