Under the direction of the Assistant College Registrar - Admissions, this position is responsible for the centralized processing of various student records.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process online application data into the Student Information System (SIS) and resolve any errors.
Receive and evaluate high school transcripts, college transcripts and test score submissions to assess college readiness and annotate data from them in the SIS.
Monitor the admissions processing email inbox to maintain timely communication between the College and the student regarding admissions and assessment related items.
Notify students of holds or other issues blocking their ability to apply for admission.
Notify students who do not initially assess as college ready of other means to attempt college readiness assessment.
Provide student record management and cleanup, including fixing duplicate student records, resolving unknown high school data, and correcting dual credit high school student records that have applied as degree seeking students.
Identify and evaluate readmitted students for assessment through prior coursework.
Monitor National Student Clearinghouse data reporting dashboard and correct reported inaccuracies on the error resolution report.

SUPERVISION GIVEN: None
SALARY RANGE: $37,000 - $40,000 Annualized
EDUCATION: Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE:
At least one year of work-related experience in an office setting.
Demonstrate evidence of ability to successfully work in a team environment with the ability to communicate well with others.
Ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued.
Prior higher education experience is desired. Banner/Ellucian Student Information Systems experience is helpful.
